DLC

Offworld Trading Company received three DLC packs on its official release day, along with the 1.0 build. More DLC and expansions have been released alongside updates to the base game.

Interdimensional DLC

A perturbation in space and time has unveiled a dimension that is a distorted echo of reality. Discovered between Saturn and Uranus, this mysterious portal leads to a host of brand new challenges and opportunities.

In Offworld Trading Company - Interdimensional, you will vie for economic dominance on mixed worlds where the rules of Mars, Europa, Io, and Ceres are in play all at once. Explore custom maps with a variety of terrain types. The frozen tundra of Europa could exist right beside the hot volcanic surface of Io on these worlds - you’ll need to choose your HQ placements wisely!

Plan your business’ expansion carefully to get the most out of the resources surrounding your base. On these maps, you’ll have access to buildings and resources that were previously only available on certain worlds - you can harvest energy using a Nuclear Power Plant on the uranium-rich fields of Ceres and harvest water from the frozen tundra of Europa, all on the same world.

Plenty of new challenges await you. Face them head on and drive your opponents’ businesses into the ground in Offworld Trading Company - Interdimensional!

Note: The Ceres Initiative DLC, Jupiter’s Forge Expansion, and The Europa Wager Expansion are not required to play this DLC.

Features

  • Play on mixed worlds with multiple different rules, buildings, and resources in play at the same time.
  • Play on one of the new included maps Sandstorm, Phoebe Station, or Three Plateaus, or choose to play on a random map for a new game experience every time.
  • Explore custom maps with a variety of terrain types. Frozen terrain with easy access to water can exist directly beside hot volcanic terrain - you will need to choose your HQ *placements strategically!
  • Create and share your own mixed maps via the Steam Workshop.

The Europa Wager Expansion

What good is business if you're not willing to expand? The smallest of Jupiter's Galilean moons, Europa presents new challenges - and new opportunities! - for brave space entrepreneurs. Until now, there hasn't been any colony or business trade on the mostly frozen moon, but you're here to change that. Establish a colony, provide valuable life support, overcome the cracked landscape, and build your business in a place where no one thought it was possible.

With brand new scenarios, locations, buildings, resources, and more, The Europa Wager is a must-have addition for your Offworld Trading Company experience.

Core Features

  • New Location - Europa
Explore the smallest of Jupiter's Galilean moons where numerous cracks in the surface and methane geysers make building and sustaining structures more than a little difficult. The frozen moon has an abundance of water, but prepare to face other challenges.
  • New Resources
Made of silicate rock and possessing a water-ice crust, Europa's atmosphere is thin but comprised mostly of oxygen. There is no aluminum on Europa, but you've found a way to use the abundant magnesium there to your advantage.
  • New Scenarios
Fight through the frozen elements and help brave colonists found their colony and establish important resource lines. Make critical decisions on where and what to build, and mind the cracked and frozen landscape in order to make sure your structures don't come tumbling down.
  • New Structures
Methane geysers are abundant on Europa, and the new Methane Extractor structure will allow you to harness the gas' energy and transform it into power. Hydrothermal Plants produce plenty of power, plus a small amount of water. Meanwhile, the Gas Plant converts fuel into power.

Market Corrections DLC

Mars used to be the place where the unwanted went. The criminals, the men and women who were a menace to society. However, a crisis on Earth forced even more humans to flee to the Red Planet in order to make better lives for themselves. Technology had failed them, and dwindling supplies was threatening to doom them.

Market Corrections is a new piece of downloadable content for Offworld Trading Company that features 12 brand new maps and 3 new character campaigns that share why humanity began to colonize Mars.

Reni-6: A sentient robot who has spent years serving humans, Reni-6 seeks to change humanity’s perception on robotics. By providing food and aid to the colonies, Reni-6 hopes they’ll see that not all technology is bad - in fact, it can even be helpful.

Ilana Kamat: A brilliant scientist, Ilana was there when a mysterious algorithm wiped out Earth’s technology. Her mentor, Silas, is keen to make certain that the same doesn’t happen to Mars, and for the time being she’s left in charge of the company to make sure things keep operating smoothly.

Frank Dawson: Frank doesn’t talk much about why he was sent to Mars - and most people are afraid enough not to ask. It is a reputation that he never asked for, one that he seeks to change for himself, as well as the rest of the colonists who first came to Mars as prisoners.

Features

  • 3 brand new campaigns featuring some of Offworld Trading Company’s favorite CEOs
    • Reni-6 (Robotics HQ)
    • Ilana Kamat (Scientific HQ)
    • Frank Dawson (Scavenger HQ)
  • 12 New Maps of various sizes, inspired by actual Martian geography
    • Korolev Crater East - The eastern side of the largest ice-filled crater on Mars
    • Two Points Lakebed - Pointed formations created by flowing rivers, which later formed a lake (now devoid of water) as the rivers were drying up.
    • Atlantis Chaos - An equatorial basin region filled with rugged features.
    • Korolev Crater West - The western side of the largest ice-filled crater on Mars.
    • Ma’adim Vallis - An ancient riverbed.
    • Thymiamata - Part of the brightest desert region on Mars, heavily pocked with craters.
    • Aurorae Chaos - Sprawling rugged lands which were once under water.
    • Melas Craters - A small section of land, marked by craters, located south of the solar system's largest canyon.
    • Mangala Valles - An intensely cratered area south of one of the ancient great seas.
    • Korolev Crater North - The northern side of the largest ice-filled crater on Mars.
    • Masursky Crater - A unique ancient crater, partially worn away by rivers that once flowed through and near it, all now long dry.
    • Mangala Fossa - A deep canyon with one section filled in by intersecting flows of ancient lava.

Limited Supply DLC

Before business on Mars started booming, the first pioneers from Earth had just one objective: survive. Play through over a dozen challenging scenarios and overcome the struggles of settling on Mars by aiding the growing colonies and ensuring their healthy futures. In this DLC, the stock market and other business owners aren’t your enemies - instead, you’re fighting against Mars itself.

Limited Supply takes a core rule of Offworld Trading Company - buy whatever you want, whenever you want it (as long as you have the cash) - and turns it on its head. Each scenario has a different ruleset and restricts what resources you’re allowed to buy and sell, meaning that you’ll have to constantly reevaluate how to thrive in each new location if you want to survive.

In normal games, you need to build up your business and turn a profit in order to buy out your competition. Now, you’ll need to meet a list of objectives set by the colony in order to win and proceed to the next scenario. As you progress, the tech you’ll have access to becomes more advanced - but, so do the colony’s requests!

The Limited Supply DLC is a whole new way to experience Offworld Trading Company. Each scenario is a puzzle to be solved rather than a head-to-head showdown against fellow businesses. Can you ensure the future of Mars and become a hero to the colonies?

Features

  • Over a dozen scenarios with unique rule sets and locations
  • A constantly changing environment that provides new challenges and objectives
  • Evolving technologies and challenges
  • Overcome the initial challenges of settling colonies on Mars
  • A new way to experience the game through puzzles instead of head-to-head competition

Conspicuous Consumption DLC

Don’t miss an opportunity for opulent self-expression! Conspicuous Consumption dresses up Offworld’s five advanced buildings with custom particles and audio. Give your game some classic sci-fi flare with retro-styled versions, or have a good laugh with the goofy fun time versions. Maybe your newfound extravagance will distract your opponent long enough for you to establish an offworld monopoly right under their noses! ...Okay, perhaps not, but at least you’ll look awesome while you try.

Features The “Conspicuous Consumption” DLC comes with two variants for each of the five advanced buildings:

  • Hacker Array:
Well, it ain’t Vegas, but it’ll have to do. Take your chances and make luck your mistress while styling the goofy roulette version, or embrace the retro feel with an old-style radio tower.
  • Offworld Market:
The colors, Duke, the colors! Launch your goods offworld and hope the popsicle rocket doesn’t melt, or change to a sleek retro rocket to make your opponents envious of your sweet ride.
  • Optimization Center:
Careful not to burst anyone’s bubble while you optimize your resources in the silly bubble machine version, or give your opponents a little shock with the retro-styled tesla coil.
  • Patent Lab:
Research some science inside a giant Rubik’s Cube (we DARE you not to get distracted trying to match the sides!), or get ahead of your opponents in a building that looks suspiciously like the robot’s head from “Forbidden Planet.”
  • Pleasure Dome:<br. Disco Inferno, baby! Tear up the dance floor inside a giant disco ball, or leave your platform shoes at home and enjoy some space burgers at a retro-styled galactic diner. Just...don’t order the special.

Jupiter's Forge Expansion

If you thought turning a profit on Mars was tough, just wait until you land on Jupiter’s volcanic moon, Io. With resources that deplete over time creating fierce competition, you will have to adapt to the new environment faster than your opponents do in order to survive. Life support is so strenuous on Io that Mars will look like a paradise in comparison!

Two brand new factions have joined the corporate world on Io where the new resource system offers a steep learning curve.
